This forum now has an RSS feed. If your browser supports it, click on this RSS link to use the forum's RSS feed:
If your browser doesn't directly support RSS (you get just a window full of text by clicking the link above) you can copy this link into an RSS reader application to view the latest posts:

If you're not already using a news reader, give one of these a try:
Mac OS X: NetNewsWire
Windows: FeedReader _________________ Dave Batton

|
|
At this moment, I'm just using FireFox 1.0 on OS X. I can't seem to figure out how to add the feed to FireFox.
Usually there is an orange RSS feed icon at the bottom of the screen and I can select it to add the RSS feed.
Help? I'm a newbie at this RSS thingy. It's wonderful to use.... |

Sorry about that. I've modified the message above so you have the button you need to click on to add the RSS feed to Firefox. _________________ Dave Batton

*sigh* something must be wrong with my FireFox 1.0 OS X setup. I still get an XML file.
On the bottom of the FireFox window, there is usually a small icon that looks like soundwaves. It creates a popup menu with the option to subscribe to the RSS feed. I can add it to my bookmarks.
I can go to www.macupdate.com and see that small orange icon. It is not a link of the web page itself but it appears as part of the Firefox browser window.
Oh well, I guess I'll break down and get one of the freebie RSS readers.... |

| I think part of the reason is that Firefox expects RSS feed URLs to end in a .RDF or .XML extension, and Foundation's is .PHP. You need to manually set it up. Go to the Bookmarks Manager and select "New Live Bookmark" from the File menu. Paste in the URL into the appropriate box and you should be good to go. |
